These practices have netted 4 Jake Awards with Distinction since joining the ASLRRA in 2018.

Another critical component is compliance with Federal Regulations that govern site and railcar security, operations, hazardous material handling, a robust track maintenance program that has resulted in one track related derailment with 875,000 cars shipped; as well as open communication and membership with Local Emergency Planning Committees to ensure rapid response in the event of an emergency.
